Casey Odo is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant currently serving patients at Louisiana Pain Specialists. With a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care, she brings extensive experience in urgent care and outpatient clinical services from her many years of experience at the Louisiana State University Student Health Center and Patient Plus Urgent Care in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Casey earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University. Her master’s project focused on the relationship between patient satisfaction and the clinical practices of physician assistants—highlighting her commitment to improving patient experience and outcomes.
In her current roles, Casey conducts thorough patient assessments, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, performs procedures such as laceration repairs and incision and drainage, and educates patients on their treatment plans. She has also previously worked as a DNA Analyst for the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab and has experience in hospital volunteer settings.
Her clinical skills include joint injections, excisional biopsies, wound care, surgical assistance, and dermatological procedures like cryotherapy and electrodessication. She maintains current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and has completed additional training in toxin technique and microdermabrasion.
Outside of her clinical work, Casey has demonstrated a strong commitment to service through volunteerism in hospice care, hospital support, and community outreach as both a student and professional.
Casey is currently accepting new patients and remains dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care across a variety of clinical settings.
