Sasha Hernandez is a nationally certified Physician Assistant with a focus in patient-centered care. With hands-on experience in fast-paced clinical settings and advanced training in imaging and procedural medicine, Sasha brings a unique and valuable perspective to the field of pain management.
Sasha earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, where she completed extensive clinical rotations across multiple specialties, including emergency medicine, internal medicine, interventional radiology, psychiatry, and general surgery. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, where she received the Outstanding Student Award and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Sasha worked as a Radiologic Technologist in the Emergency Department at Ochsner Baptist, where she developed her skills in imaging, bedside care, and interdisciplinary teamwork. Her combined training in radiology and medicine enhances her diagnostic approach and supports her ability to deliver informed, effective care to patients living with chronic pain.
Sasha is dedicated to bridging the gap between diagnosis and treatment and is passionate about helping patients regain quality of life through individualized pain management plans.
