The Fight Against Pain Foundation
The Fight Against Pain Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) organization established to further pain education, dispelling common pain misconceptions, and providing supportive care for pain patients. A portion of all profits from Louisiana Pain Specialists goes to funding this charitable organization. The organization has events planned on topics including: Fibromyalgia: Misconceptions and Therapies; What to do for pain following back surgery; Too Many Pills: Stories of Successful Detox; How to live a more productive life with pain; and many more.
The charity will also host patient support groups on a variety of issues. Patients, family, and friends are encouraged to get involved in this very unique organization.
