Tarun Jolly, MD

Dr. Tarun Jolly earned his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internship and residency at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans. He completed a Post-Doctoral Pain Management Fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management by the American College of Medical Specialties. Dr. Jolly is the founder and CEO of Louisiana Pain Specialists, an organization dedicated to providing optimal care for pain patients. He is the former Director of Ochsner’s Pain Management Division, a section he established in 2006.
Dr. Jolly specializes in a variety of non-invasive or minimally invasive modalities for treating chronic neck and back pain through a variety of injection techniques among other novel therapies. He is acknowledged as one of the nation’s foremost specialists in Spinal Cord Stimulation, a therapy directed at providing relief for refractory back and neuropathic based pain. Dr. Jolly’s passion for the field is exemplified in his delivery of over 100 lectures on the subject locally & nationally including a feature on ABC National News’ Website for Pain Management.
